From January 1st 2015, new UK waste regulations will require businesses to separate recyclable material (paper, plastic, metal and glass) from other waste
On January 1st 2015 UK businesses have a new waste regulation box to tick. All UK businesses will now need to separate out dry recyclables (paper, plastic, metal and glass) from other waste such as food. If you are already doing this, as a lot of you already are, then you need do nothing. To comply with the new amendment to the EU Waste Framework Directive you should be using a mixed recycling service to take your recyclable waste away, along with a general collection for other waste streams.
